INDI CHARTS (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the INDI CHARTS mobile application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and display name (if provided by Google)
- Alert Data: Technical indicator alerts you create, including:
- Symbol names (e.g., AAPL, BTC-USD)
- Indicator settings (RSI, Stochastic, Williams %R)
- Alert levels and timeframes
- Notification preferences
- Device Information:
- Device ID (generated locally for device identification)
- Device platform (iOS/Android)
- App version
- FCM Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications
- Usage Data:
- App interactions and feature usage
- Error logs and crash reports (for debugging purposes)
- Network requests and API calls
1.3 Data Stored Locally
- Local Database: All alert rules, watchlist items, and indicator data are stored locally on your device using Isar database
- Preferences: App settings, theme preferences, and language selection
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service:
- Calculate and display technical indicators
- Send push notifications when alerts are triggered
- Synchronize your alerts and watchlist across devices
- To Improve the Service:
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
3.1 Third-Party Services
We share your information with the following third-party services:
Firebase (Google):
- Purpose: Authentication and push notifications
- Data Shared: Email address, display name (for authentication), FCM token
- Privacy Policy: Google Privacy Policy
Cloudflare Workers (Backend Server):
- Purpose: Alert storage, synchronization, and push notification delivery
- Data Shared:
- Device ID and FCM token
- Alert rules and watchlist items
- User ID for account association

Yahoo Finance:
- Purpose: Market data retrieval (symbols, prices, historical data)
- Data Shared: Symbol names and timeframes (for data requests only)

3.2 Data Storage
- Local Storage: Alert rules, watchlist items, and indicator data are stored locally on your device
- Cloud Storage: Alert rules and device information are synchronized to our backend server (Cloudflare Workers) for cross-device synchronization
- Data Retention: Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time (see Section 5)
3.3 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the app and servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Secure Storage: Local data is stored in an encrypted database (Isar)
- Authentication: Secure authentication through Firebase Auth
- Access Control: Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
5.1 Access and Portability
- View all alert rules and watchlist items stored in the app
- Export your data (available through app settings)
5.2 Deletion
- Delete Individual Alerts: Remove specific alerts from the app
- Delete Account:
- Sign out from the app (removes Firebase authentication)
- Delete all local data by clearing app cache/data
- Contact us to request deletion of cloud-stored data

5.3 Notification Preferences
- Enable or disable push notifications in app settings
- Configure sound and vibration preferences
- Request notification permissions only when creating alerts (not on app startup)
5.4 Data Synchronization
- Choose to use the app without signing in (anonymous mode)
- Sign in with Google to enable cross-device synchronization
- Sign out at any time to stop synchronization
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
- Updating the “Last Updated” date
- Sending a notification through the app (for significant changes)
